Celebrating Excellence

The National Ballet of Canada's special events provide occasions to celebrate the company's spectacular performances and talented artists. Like-minded attendees enjoy the exciting social opportunities to meet and mingle with one another as well as with the dancers, musicians, choreographers, artistic staff and special guests of the National Ballet.

Special fundraising events also help raise the National Ballet's profile, attract new audience members and donors and provide an important source of revenue for the company. The annual gala event raises over $1 million per year, which represents nearly 15% of the company’s annual fundraising goal. 

Diamond Gala

The National Ballet of Canada’s 60th anniversary celebrations in 2011/12
will culminate in the Diamond Gala on June 20, 2012.
