It is thanks to the generosity of a strong community of donors, sponsors and volunteers that The National Ballet of Canada has been able to engage audiences both at home and abroad with such great success this season.  

The 2012/13 season’sperformances, creative partnerships and artistic growth have included: 

  • A triumphant return to the world stage to perform for audiences and international critics in Los Angeles, Washington, DC, Ottawa and London, England
  • Opportunities to delight home audiences with treasured favourites like Giselle and The Nutcracker, as well as modern-day classics Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and The Four Seasons 
  • The Canadian premiere of Nijinsky which showcased the incredible talents and commitment of our artists in John Neumeier’s gripping choreographic vision
  • The training and mentorship of 10 YOU dance Apprentices and the YOU dance program of workshops and performances for over 4,500 students in Toronto and 5,400 students and community members in Thunder Bay, Port Hope and North Bay

To celebrate and support all of the National Ballet’s remarkable achievements, please make a special donation before the 2012/13 Season concludes at the end of June.

The National Ballet of Canada is almost at 99% of its fundraising target for 2012/13, with $122,000 left to raise on a goal of $9.1 million. Please make your donation today to help us reach our goal!
