Ballet 365: Monthly Giving

Join Ballet 365, our monthly donor club, an easy and convenient way to support the extraordinary artists of The National Ballet of Canada all year round.

Gifts in Memory or in Honour of a Loved One

If you wish to pay tribute to a loved one with a gift in memory or in tribute, you can do so by phone at 416 345 9595 or by mail. The National Ballet can send a notification of your gift along with a personal message.

Gifts of Securities or Stocks

A gift of securities or stocks may offer greater tax advantages to you, since donors are no longer taxed on capital gains accrued on securities that have been donated to a registered charity. To make a gift of securities or stocks, please complete and return this form or contact Lucy White (lwhite@national.ballet.ca or 416 345 9686 x333) before you contact your stockbroker with your request to transfer stock. 

Remember the National Ballet in your Will

Legacy Giving, including a gift such as a bequest in your will or a gift of life insurance, is an important and meaningful way for you to contribute to the National Ballet's ongoing success. In addition, such a gift may provide immediate or deferred tax benefits to you. In appreciation of your legacy gift, the National Ballet will recognize your thoughtful generosity during your lifetime through the Celia Franca Society.

Matching Gifts

Many companies encourage employees to make donations to charities and not-for-profit organizations by providing incentives in the form of matching gifts. Please check with your company’s charitable giving or human resources department to see if there is a matching gift policy in place. Your company will have a procedure for submitting a gift to be matched. Learn more >

The National Ballet Endowment

Gifts to the Endowment Foundation are an investment in the long-term artistic future of the National Ballet, helping to provide a stable source of income for years to come. The National Ballet of Canada benefits from the generosity of donors, foundations and corporations, and government matching programmes, which have helped to build a sizeable investment portfolio within the Endowment Foundation.

Charitable tax receipts will be issued for donations of $20 or more.
