Biography
Daniel Cooke was born in Washington, D.C.
He started dancing at age five and trained at Patel Conservatory in Tampa, Florida, Orlando Ballet School, Washington School of Ballet and Maryland
Youth Ballet. He joined The National Ballet of Canada as an Apprentice in 2011.
As a student, Mr. Cooke, performed in The Nutcracker, Cinderella, The Sorcerer’s
Apprentice and A Midsummer Night’s
Dream.
In 2011, Mr. Cooke received the Bronze Medal at the Youth
America Grand Prix. During his training, he received a full scholarship to Miami City Ballet School,
the School of American
Ballet, Orlando Ballet School
and Boston Ballet School.
