Biography
Esabelle Chen was born in Taiwan and trained at Canada’s National Ballet School before joining The National Ballet of Canada as an Apprentice in 2010.
With the National Ballet, Ms. Chen performed in the North American premiere of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. During her training, she danced in Serenade, Swan Lake, La Sylphide, Who Cares?, an original work titled 30-Minute Beauty Makeover by Matjash Mrozewski and La Bayadère with Dutch National Ballet.
In 2009, Ms. Chen received the Peter Dwyer Award.
