Francesco Gabriele Frola, Apprentice

Biography

Francesco (Gabriele) Frola was born in Aosta, Italy. He began dancing at the age of four and trained at Professione Danza Parma in Italy and at The School of The Hamburg Ballet in Germany. Mr. Frola became an Apprentice with The National Ballet of Canada in 2010.

With the National Ballet, Mr. Frola has danced in Cinderella, Don Quixote and the North American premiere of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. As a student, Mr. Frola performed in The Sleeping Beauty, Don Quixote and La Fille mal gardée.

In 2003 and 2006, Mr. Frola received the prize for Best Male at the Grand Prix Pavlova. He was also a semi-finalist Prix de Lausanne in 2008 and won the Bronze Medal in the International Ballet Competition in Cuba in 2010.
