Biography
Born in Atlanta,
Georgia, Christopher Stalzer
trained at the Rotaru
International Ballet
School. Mr. Stalzer joined
Houston Ballet in 2004 and became a member of The National Ballet of Canada’s Corps
de Ballet in 2007.
Mr. Stalzer's repertoire includes The Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake, Romeo and Juliet, Giselle,
Onegin, The Nutcracker, Don Quixote, The Merry Widow, Opus 19/The Dreamer, The
Four Seasons, the second detail, Etudes, Soldiers’ Mass, Glass Pieces, West Side Story Suite and Carmen.
Mr. Stalzer danced in the world premieres
of Watch her, Emergence, DEXTRIS, the
company premiere of Russian Seasons
and the North American premieres Alice’s
Adventures in Wonderland and The
Seagull.
In 2010, Mr. Stalzer danced with the
company in 24 Preludes
by Chopin at the Cultural Olympiad at the Winter Olympics in Vancouver.
