Elizabeth Marrable was born in Jeffrey’s Bay, South Africa
and trained at Canada’s National Ballet School. She joined The National Ballet
of Canada as a member of the Corps de Ballet in 2008.
Ms. Marrable’s repertoire includes the Sheep in The Nutcracker as well as roles in The Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake, Onegin, Giselle, Romeo and Juliet, Alice’s Adventures in
Wonderland,Cinderella, Don Quixote, The Seagull, The Four
Temperaments, The Four Seasons, Emergence, Theme and Variations and Glass
Pieces. Recently, Ms. Marrable danced in the Canadian premiere of Nijinsky by John Neumeier.
During her training, she danced in La Sylphide, Raymonda pas de deux and Variations and in 2008, she performed in The Banff Centre’s Summer
