Biography

Giorgio Galli was born in Carate Brianza, Italy. He trained at La Scala Ballet School in Milan and The Royal Ballet School in London. In 2009, Mr. Galli became a YOU dance Apprentice and joined The National Ballet of Canada in 2010.

Mr. Galli’s repertoire includes The Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake, Onegin, Don Quixote, The Nutcracker and West Side Story Suite. Mr. Galli danced in the company premiere of Chroma and the North American premiere of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.

During his training, Mr. Galli received a full scholarship to The Royal Ballet School. He was awarded the Worshipful Company of Gold and Silver Wyre Drawers Award, the Choreographic Development Award and the John McAsIan Family Trust Prize.
