Harrison James was born in Paraparaumu, New Zealand and
trained at San Francisco Ballet School's Trainee Program in California and the New
Zealand School of Dance. Mr. James danced with Canada’s Royal Winnipeg Ballet
and Béjart Ballet Lausanne before joining The National Ballet of Canada’s Corps
de Ballet in 2013.
Mr. James’ repertoire with the National Ballet includes Swan Lake, Onegin, The Nutcracker
and Watch her. Recently, he debuted
in the world premiere of Unearth by
Robert Binet and Watershed by José
His repertoire with Canada’s Royal Winnipeg Ballet includes Albrecht in Giselle, the title role in Svengali and White Rabbit in Wonderland.
