Larissa Khotchenkova was born in Moscow, Russia and trained
at Canada’s National Ballet School. Ms. Khotchenkova joined The National Ballet
of Canada as a RBC Apprentice in 2011 and became a member of the Corps de
Ballet in 2012.
Ms. Khotchenkova’s repertoire includes Swan Lake, The Sleeping
Beauty, Giselle, The Nutcracker, Romeo and Juliet, Cinderella,
Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, Nijinsky, La Fille mal gardée, Theme and Variations and Carmen.
Ms. Khotchenkova received the inaugural RBC Emerging Artist
Apprentice Award in 2012. In 2011, she received the Peter Dwyer Award and the
Christopher Ondaatje Prize while a student at Canada’s National Ballet School.
