Selene Guerrero-Trujillo was born in Mexico City, Mexico and trained
at The National Ballet School of Mexico and Canada’s National Ballet School.
She joined The National Ballet of Canada as a member of the Corps de Ballet in
Ms. Guerrero-Trujillo’s repertoire includes Bee in The Nutcracker, Second Fairy in The Sleeping Beauty and Blossom in Cinderella. Her repertoire also includes roles in Giselle, Onegin, Swan Lake, Romeo and Juliet, Alice’s Adventures in
Wonderland, The Merry Widow,
Serenade, Don Quixote, Symphony in C,
Theme and Variations, Nijinsky, The Seagull, The Four Seasons, The Four Temperaments, Opus 19/The Dreamer, Glass Pieces, the second detail,West Side
Story Suite, Emergence and Carmen.
Recently, Ms. Guerrero-Trujillo danced in the world premiere of ... black night’s bright day ...choreographed by James Kudelka.
Ms. Guerrero-Trujillo received scholarships from Mexico's National Council for
Culture and the Arts while a student at The National Ballet School of Mexico.
