Biography
A native of Mexico City, Selene Guerrero-Trujillo trained at
the National Ballet School of Mexico and Canada’s National Ballet School. She
joined The National Ballet of Canada as a member of the Corps de Ballet in
2007.
Ms. Guerrero-Trujillo performed roles in The Sleeping Beauty, Romeo
and Juliet, Giselle, Onegin, Swan Lake, The Merry Widow, The
Nutcracker, Cinderella, Serenade,
Don Quixote, Symphony in C, The Four
Seasons, The Four Temperaments,Opus 19/The Dreamer and Glass Pieces. She danced in the North
American premieres of Alice’s Adventures
in Wonderland, The Seagull and Carmen.
While a student, Ms. Guerrero-Trujillo received
scholarships from Mexico's National Council for Culture and the Arts.
