Biography

Selene Guerrero-Trujillo was born in Mexico City and trained at the National Ballet School of Mexico and Canada’s National Ballet School. She joined The National Ballet of Canada as a member of the Corps de Ballet in 2007.  

Ms. Guerrero-Trujillo has performed the Bee in The Nutcracker and the Gemini Fairy in The Sleeping Beauty. She has also danced roles in Giselle, Onegin, Swan Lake, Romeo and Juliet, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, The Merry Widow, Cinderella, Carmen, Serenade, Don Quixote, Symphony in C, Theme and Variations, The Seagull, The Four Seasons, The Four Temperaments,Opus 19/The Dreamer,Glass Pieces, the second detail, Emergence and West Side Story Suite. 

Ms. Guerrero-Trujillo received scholarships from Mexico's National Council for Culture and the Arts as a student.
