Biography
Shaila D’Onofrio was born in Popoli, Italy. She trained at Teatro dell'Opera in Rome and Teatro alla Scala in Milan. She became a YOU dance Apprentice in 2009 and joined The National Ballet of Canada in 2011.
Her repetoire includes Cinderella, The Nutcracker, The Sleeping Beauty and Don Quixote. Ms. D’Onofrio performed in the North American premiere of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.
During her training, Ms. D’Onofrio received
a scholarship at Teatro dell'Opera as well as a scholarship at Teatro alla Scala Ballet School.
