Biography
Alejandra Perez-Gomez was born in Toronto, Ontario.
She studied at L’École superiéure de ballet contemporain de Montréal, the Princess Grace Academy
in Monaco and San Francisco Ballet School.
Ms. Perez-Gomez joined The National Ballet of Canada in 1998 and was promoted
to Second Soloist in 2006.
Recently,
Ms. Perez-Gomez danced the role of the Nurse and Lady Capulet in the world
premiere of Romeo and Juliet by
Alexei Ratmansky. She also danced Gertrude in the North American premiere of Hamlet by Kevin O’Day and the Cook in the North American premiere
of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland by
Christopher Wheeldon.
