Biography

Alejandra Perez-Gomez was born in Toronto, Ontario. She studied at L’École superiéure de ballet contemporain de Montréal, the Princess Grace Academy in Monaco and San Francisco Ballet School. Ms. Perez-Gomez joined The National Ballet of Canada in 1998 and was promoted to Second Soloist in 2006.

Ms. Perez-Gomez has danced in The Sleeping Beauty, Romeo and Juliet, Swan Lake, Cinderella, The Nutcracker, Onegin, Don Quixote, The Four Temperaments, Désir, Opus 19/The Dreamer, Stravinsky Violin Concerto, Jewels, The Four Seasons and There, below.

Ms. Perez-Gomez danced in the world premieres of Swan Lake, An Italian Straw Hat, The Contract (The Pied Piper), The Firebird and Emergence and performed in the North American premiere of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.
