Anna Karenina: Inside the Studio

Step inside the studio with Principal Dancers Heather Ogden, Guillaume Côté and Evan McKie as they rehearse for the North American premiere of Anna Karenina, John Neumeier’s acclaimed re-imagining of Leo Tolstoy’s masterwork.

Hailed a “visceral experience” (Dance Europe) and “an Anna Karenina for our times” (NPR), Anna Karenina showcases the full-range of the company’s dramatic artistry.

The ballet has enthralled audiences in Hamburg and Moscow and Toronto audiences are familiar with Neumeier’s acclaimed works for the National Ballet, including Nijinsky, A Streetcar Named Desire and The Seagull.


Anna Karenina opens the 2018/19 season and is onstage November 10 – 18, 2018.
