Culture Days at The National Ballet of Canada

In Studio Beginner Ballet Class

The National Ballet of Canada welcomes you to join us for a free beginner ballet class to celebrate Culture Days, led by In Studio’s Director, Kate Kernaghan and accompanied by a live pianist on September 23, 2023, 11:00 am – 12:30 pm.

The class will be one hour and fifteen minutes followed by a short Q and A and photo opportunity with Kate and company dancers. Learn the art of ballet in our spacious and bright studios through simple ballet positions and movements at the barre and in the centre. Ballet can help improve your posture, stability, and balance, as well as develop musicality and artistry in the way your body moves. Come as you are and enjoy this simple and fun ballet class.

*Please note, this event is open to ages 10 and up, no previous dance experience required.
