Together for Ballet

Our work of connecting with you, our audience, donors and community, has been interrupted, but our artists and our company are resilient and adaptable. Even though we are not together right now, our work has not stopped.

With the cancellation of our entire 2020/21 season, however, we are facing the serious financial implications of this loss in ticket revenues. We have pulled together to respond to this moment and will continue to provide joy and inspiration through dance.

A video message from Karen Kain:

We must raise an additional $5.4 million above our annual $6.7 million goal to fund critical priorities:

Protecting Our Artists
$3.4 million

Together, we can support and protect our artists – dancers and musicians – so they can return to the stage in top form.

Innovation, Creativity and Community
$1 million

Together, we can commission new works by Canadian choreographers for the digital stage and together we can connect with children and students in our community through virtual education and engagement initiatives.

Investing in Digital Technology
$500,000

Together, we can invest in essential digital technology to capture new ballets so that we can connect with you and audiences across the country.

COVID Measures
$500,000

Together, we can ensure the safety of our artists and audiences through adaptations and enhanced safety protocols.
