The Equity Project
The National Ballet of Canada has been a participant in The Equity Project: Increasing the Presence of Blacks in Ballet since 2018, a project that brings together a cohort of Artistic and Executive leaders from 21 North American large budget, professional ballet organizations with the purpose of increasing the presence of Blacks in ballet in all areas of the industry.

2020/21 Season Promotions Announced

As the 2019/20 season comes to a close, The National Ballet of Canada gathered donors, artists, orchestra members and staff together virtually to celebrate the extraordinary work of the season. Although COVID-19 cut the season short, there was still much to applaud. One of the highlights of the event was the announcement of dancer promotions for the coming season and award winners.
