Being away from the studio and the stage these past four months has been difficult. We so miss being able to perform for you but this time in isolation has also allowed for reflection and invention. We have seen our artists take their creativity online to keep the joy of dance alive and we have explored new ways to connect in the virtual world. And we have seen you, our patrons, show wonderful support for the company during our time of need.
Our sincere gratitude to you, our audience and donor community, and to the essential workers keeping us safe during this extraordinary time. In this video, our dancers choreographed movement expressing their thanks set to a special remote recording of Edward Elgar’s moving Nimrod from Enigma Variations performed by The National Ballet of Canada Orchestra.
We will get through this together. #TorontoTogether
