Real Life Pas de Deux: Skylar Campbell and Jaclyn Oakley Wed
August 6, 2019
Surrounded by family and friends, The National Ballet of Canada’s Principal Dancer Skylar Campbell and Corps de Ballet member Jaclyn Oakley said “I do” on June 30, 2019 in Los Angeles, California. The couple met in 2009, while dancing at Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity’s Summer Arts Festival prior to joining the National Ballet as RBC Apprentices later that year. Celebrating eight years together, they tied the knot after a two-year engagement in the Los Angeles Arts District, in Mr. Campbell’s native state of California.
Both Mr. Campbell and Ms. Oakley will perform in the National Ballet’s 2019/20 season celebrating Artistic Director Karen Kain’s 50th anniversary with the company, which opens November 6, 2019 with Giselle at the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts.
