Jordana Daumec was born in New York City, New York and trained at Studio Maestro in New York City, New York and Canada’s National Ballet School. She joined The National Ballet of Canada as a RBC Apprentice in 2003 and was promoted to First Soloist in 2015.

Jordana has danced such roles as Lescaut’s Mistress in Manon, Princess Florine in The Sleeping Beauty, Italian Princess in Swan Lake, Bronislava in Nijinsky, Blossom and Moss in Cinderella, Bee in The Nutcracker, Young Shepherdess in The Winter’s Tale, Spring in The Four Seasons, the Female Lead in Symphony #9 and L’Allumeuse in Le Petit Prince. Her repertoire includes such ballets as Romeo and Juliet, Giselle, Onegin, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, Anna Karenina, The Merry Widow, Pinocchio, A Streetcar Named Desire, La Sylphide, Don Quixote, Madame Butterfly, The Taming of the Shrew, An Italian Straw Hat, The Seagull, Theme and Variations, Symphony in C, Jewels, Chaconne, The Dream, Etudes, Paquita, The Four Temperaments, The Second Detail, The Vertiginous Thrill of Exactitude, Chroma, Allegro Brillante, The Concert, Glass Pieces, Russian Seasons, Angels' Atlas, Emergence, Cacti, Paz de la Jolla and Night.
In 2017, she received the My Entertainment World Award for Best Outstanding Ballet Performance for her role as Bronislava in Nijinsky.
