Félix Paquet was born in Québec City, Québec and trained at Canada’s National Ballet School. Mr. Paquet joined The National Ballet of Canada as a RBC Apprentice in 2012 and became a Second Soloist in 2017.
Recently, Mr. Paquet made his debut as Levin in the North American premiere of Anna Karenina. He has danced such roles as Polixenes in The Winter’s Tale, Paris in Romeo and Juliet, the Golden Slave/the Faun in Nijinsky, Guy Glover in Frame by Frame and had the title role of Le Petit Prince created on him. His repertoire includes Icicle in The Nutcracker and Caterpillar/Raj in Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland as well as roles in Swan Lake, The Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Giselle, Manon, La Sylphide, The Four Seasons, Chroma, Genus, Carousel (A Dance), Emergence, Cacti, Paz de la Jolla, Being and Nothingness, The Dreamers Ever Leave You and Self and Soul, which was created on Mr. Paquet.
Mr. Paquet received the RBC Emerging Artist Apprentice Award in 2013. In 2016, Mr. Paquet represented the National Ballet in The Twelfth International Competition for the Erik Bruhn Prize.
