Biography

Jeannine Haller was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and trained at Place des Arts in Coquitlam, British Columbia and Canada's National Ballet School. Ms. Haller joined The National Ballet of Canada as a RBC Apprentice in 2015 and was promoted to Second Soloist in 2019.

Ms. Haller recently made her debut as Polyhymnia in Apollo. Her repertoire includes the Second Fairy in The Sleeping Beauty as well as roles in Swan Lake, Romeo and Juliet, Giselle, The Nutcracker, Onegin, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, The Winter’s Tale, Nijinsky, Anna Karenina, The Merry Widow, Frame by Frame, Pinocchio, La Sylphide, The Dream, Paquita, The Four Seasons, The Vertiginous Thrill of Exactitude, The Concert, Paquita, A Streetcar Named Desire, Cacti, Emergence and Paz de la Jolla.

In 2019, Ms. Haller represented the National Ballet in The International Competition for The Erik Bruhn Prize. In 2016, she was awarded the RBC Apprentice Award.
