Biography

Isaac Wright was born in Belleville, Ontario and trained at Quinte Ballet School of Canada in Belleville, Ontario and Canada’s National Ballet School. Isaac joined The National Ballet of Canada as a RBC Apprentice in 2015 and danced with Ballet J├Ârgen and Les Grands Ballets before re-joining the National Ballet’s Corps de Ballet in 2019

Isaac’s repertoire includes Swan Lake, Romeo and Juliet, The Sleeping Beauty, The Nutcracker, Giselle, Cinderella, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, The Winter’s Tale, Anna Karenina, The Merry Widow, Pinocchio, A Streetcar Named Desire and La Sylphide, Chaconne, Etudes, Piano Concerto #1, Petite Mort, Marguerite and Armand, Angels’ Atlas, The Dreamers Ever Leave You and Orpheus Alive.

Isaac was awarded the RBC Emerging Artist Award in 2016 and the Patron Award of Merit in 2020.
