Nathan Compiano is a Corps de Ballet member with The Royal Danish Ballet. He began studying ballet at the age of four in Cary, North Carolina and moved to New York City to study full time at the School of American Ballet (SAB) in 2013. SAB’s Student Choreographic Workshop gave him his first opportunities as a choreographer, where he made short works in 2014, 2015 and 2016. In 2016, Mr. Compiano was awarded a scholarship from the Danish American Cultural Exchange, allowing him to study with both The Royal Danish Ballet School and The Royal Danish Ballet for three weeks. In 2017, he finished his studies with SAB and moved to Europe. In 2018, Mr. Compiano worked in collaboration with composer Zachary Green to commission a work for the New York Choreographic Institute.
