American Friends of The National Ballet of Canada was established to build a creative community among our friends in the U.S. As a part of this group, you can help The National Ballet of Canada achieve one of its top priorities – sharing Canadian artistry with the world.

Through this unique group, we aim to:
  • Grow awareness for and interest in The National Ballet of Canada throughout the U.S.
  • Present The National Ballet of Canada in U.S. centres of dance to share the best of ballet, such as our recent tour to New York City Center with the U.S. premiere of the critically acclaimed Angels' Atlas by Crystal Pite
  • Increase contributions to The National Ballet of Canada to help the company achieve its top strategic priorities
  • Build a vibrant, creative community that supports artistic collaboration between American and Canadian dancers and choreographers.

By joining American Friends, you have the opportunity to engage more deeply with The National Ballet of Canada. Your charitable gift will fuel the company’s artistic growth and help introduce more people to the riches of our company.

To show our gratitude for your support, the National Ballet is pleased to offer opportunities for you to further engage with the company and gain insights into the work we do.

With our talented artists and flourishing repertoire, including ballets by renowned American choreographers like Jerome Robbins, John Neumeier, Justin Peck and William Forsythe, The National Ballet of Canada is inspiring more people than ever. We invite you to become familiar with some of our American artists, like Ben Rudisin, Spencer Hack and Brenna Flaherty, and learn more about the company through our News Hub.
