How It Works

What? DanceBreak is a free membership programme for 16 to 29 year olds providing members access to $35 tickets on the day of the performance.

Who? Anyone between the ages of 16 and 29 who has signed up for a free membership is eligible. If you purchase two tickets, your guest must also be between 16 and 29. Both you and your guest will be required to show valid photo ID as proof of age. Box Office staff will check ID for every ticket holder, not just the ticket purchaser. If you have a bunch of friends who want to come, just get them to sign up and they can buy their own tickets.

How? Visit national.ballet.ca anytime after 12:00 am (midnight) on the day of the performance and log in to Your Account. You can buy a maximum of two tickets for each show. A credit card and Promo Code are required to buy online. If you don't have a credit card, just visit the Box Office on the day of the performance.

When? DanceBreak tickets are available online as of 12:00 am (midnight) on the day of the performance. Please note that tickets are subject to availability and at the discretion of The National Ballet of Canada. There is no guarantee that there will be tickets available for a performance.

Where? All performances take place at the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts (145 Queen Street West at University Avenue). Our Box Office is located there too. You can enter the building directly from Osgoode subway station.

Why? A fun night out with friends... A great date night... Mesmerizing dance by an internationally acclaimed company... The question really is, why not!
