Are standing room tickets available?
Yes. We offer 48 standing room locations, in the back rows of Ring 3 and Ring 4 in the Four Seasons Centre. Tickets are $12.00 and go on sale at 11:00 am on the day of the performance at the box office, in person only. Tickets are subject to availability and limited to 2 per person.

At what age can I bring my child to the ballet?
A child is considered aged 2 to 13, however we recommend that ballet performances are not suitable for most children under 5. Babes in arms and childen under 2 years of age will not be admitted to performances.

We welcome children who are old enough to enjoy The National Ballet of Canada's performances, but we recognize that some of our productions may not be enjoyable for young children.

We encourage questions with regards to the suitability of a performance prior to purchasing a ticket for a child. Our Audience and Donor Services staff would be happy to advise you. Call 416 (1 866) 345 9595.

At The Theatre

When should I arrive?
We recommend leaving plenty of time to make your journey to the theatre. There are bars and concessions throughout the facility, which offer beverages and snacks to enjoy prior to the performance. Our popular Ballet Talks take place 45 minutes prior to the performance, and we recommend arriving early if you wish to attend.

What should I wear?
Whatever you feel comfortable in! There is no dress code at The Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts and you will see a variety of dress, from jeans to ballgowns and tuxedos.

If I leave the auditorium, can I get back in?
Out of respect of our artists, we do not permit re-entry to the auditorium during the performance. Please stay in your seat until the interval or end of the performance. At the intermission you are welcome to re-enter the auditorium.

Can I take pictures?
For the safety of our artists and the enjoyment of you fellow patrons, photography and video during the performance is prohibited. However, you are welcome to take photographs of the curtain call.

I have an accessibility requirement – can you accommodate me?
There are wheelchair accessible seats on all levels except Ring 5. Every washroom is wheelchair accessible and there are elevators on every level. If you require a wheelchair accessible seat, or for more on accessibility, please call Audience and Donor Services on 416 (1 866) 345 9595. We recommend booking in advance.
