Student Matinees

For only $15 a ticket, your students can experience the magic of ballet! Not only will you and your students attend a live performance, we will also help you incorporate ballet into the curriculum with a ballet study guide prior to the performance.

The National Ballet of Canada marks its 75th anniversary in the 2026/27 season. To celebrate this incredible milestone, the National Ballet is presenting a student matinee performance of one of ballet’s greatest classics, Romeo and Juliet, on Tuesday, November 3 at 12:00 pm at the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts. The full auditorium will be offered to student groups for this performance at an earlier time.

Additional Information

  • Teacher or Chaperone will receive a complimentary ticket with the group (minimum 10 people per group)
  • Performances will take place at the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts, located at 145 Queen Street West (at University Avenue)

  • Tickets are allocated on a first come, first served basis once payment is received

Specialist High Skills Major

The National Ballet of Canada welcomes Specialist High Skills Major SHSM students to join arts industry professionals at the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts, The Walter Carsen Centre and The Gretchen Ross Production Centre. Hands-on workshops, performances, backstage tours and discussion panels take students behind the scenes in the world of ballet.
