Matthieu Pagès was born in Annecy, France and trained at Paris Opéra Ballet School and Studio Annecy in France and Geneva Dance Center and Tanz Akademie Zürich in Switzerland. He joined The National Ballet of Canada as a Corps de Ballet member in 2023.
Matthieu’s repertoire with the National Ballet includes the world premiere of William Yong’s UtopiVerse, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, Don Quixote, Diamonds, Angels’ Atlas and Suite en Blanc. His repertoire with other companies includes Nussknacker und Mausekönig, Anna Karenina and Monteverdi by Christian Spuck, How I know you by Leo Mujic and The Cellist by Cathy Marston
