Absolute Beginner Ballet Workshop

Our ballet workshops focus on building technique, musicality and grace, guiding participants through steady progression. Registration for the full term is required. We recommend this workshop for beginners who wish to advance to drop-in ballet classes with confidence.
Introduction to Pointe Assessments
Our new Introduction to Pointe Assessment, a 20-minute session required before joining the Introduction to Pointe Workshop, ensures you’re ready to begin pointe work successfully. During the session, our expert faculty will guide you through tailored exercises and provide personalized feedback to help you progress with strength and assurance.
Introduction to Pointe Workshop
NEW* Elementary Pointe
This workshop is for students that have completed an introductory course for pointe work and have at least 6 months experience on pointe and want to work on strength and control. Each class will offer strengthening and stabilizing exercises for the feet and ankles, a ballet barre warm up, and pointe work at the barre. Students will spend part of the final sessions learning a short piece of classical ballet repertoire and conclude the workshop with a final demonstration class/performance in Prima Studio for invited guests.
Beginner Pointe Workshop
Refine your pointe technique while enhancing strength and control in our specialized workshop. Each 1.5-hour session features ballet warm-up movements, targeted exercises to strengthen and stabilize the feet and ankles and focused pointe work. Participants should have a minimum of two years of consistent ballet training and at least three months of prior pointe experience to enroll.
