The National Ballet of Canada invites you to celebrate Culture Days on Friday, September 19 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at The Walter Carsen Centre. Watch National Ballet artists in rehearsal and then take a free In Studio beginner ballet class in our spacious and bright studios.
Following the one-hour rehearsal, take a fun, beginner level one hour and 15-minute ballet class which will conclude with a short Q & A with National Ballet artists.
Come as you are, no previous dance experience required! This event is for participants ages 10 and up.
Culture Days is a national celebration of arts and culture. From September 19 to October 12, millions of people attend thousands of free participatory arts and culture events across the country both in-person and online. Culture Days programs invite the public to get hands-on and behind-the-scenes to highlight the importance of arts and culture in our communities.
"Culture Days highlights the importance of arts and culture in our communities and The National Ballet of Canada is proud to participate every year.”
