Ezio Bosso was an Italian composer, conductor, double bass player and pianist. Trained in double bass, composition and conducting at the Vienna Academy, he pursued an international career across symphonic music, opera, film and dance. His music was commissioned and performed by major institutions including the Royal Opera House, New York City Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, the Opéra Garnier and Teatro alla Scala and has been selected by choreographers such as Christopher Wheeldon, Edwaard Liang, Rafael Bonachela and David Dawson. From 2005 onwards, he focused primarily on conducting and composition, while also developing a widely recognized public role in bringing classical music to broader audiences through concerts, broadcasts and cultural projects. |
