Michael Lewandowski

Michael Lewandowski was born in Włocławek, Poland and studied technical theatre production at York University in Toronto. He works across live performance, opera and broadcast production in Canada and internationally. His work with The National Ballet of Canada includes The Nutcracker, the world premieres of Frame by Frame, Orpheus Alive, The Dreamers Ever Leave You, Anna Karenina and The Winter’s Tale, as well as tours to New York City (Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and The Winter’s Tale) and Washington, D.C. (The Winter’s Tale). He has also worked on Fall for Dance North. Theatre credits include the world premiere and UK tour of ’da Kink in My Hair and The Pillowman (Canadian Stage). Opera credits with the Canadian Opera Company include The Nightingale and Other Short Fables, War and Peace, Carmen and others. He has been floor director for the Canadian Country Music Awards, Juno Awards and Indspire Awards and contributed to projects including An Evening with Michelle Obama, FIVB World Championships, Just for Laughs and Luminato.
