CreativAction
Supporting Canadian Choreographers and the Dance Community
CreativAction shares The National Ballet of Canada’s resources with the Canadian dance community and develops Canadian choreographic talent. Created by Artistic Director Emerita Karen Kain and led by Curator and Producer, CreativAction and Special Initiatives Robert Binet, CreativAction has three core activities:
Open Space
The National Ballet provides over 1,500 hours of free studio space each season at The Walter Carsen Centre to independent choreographers for one to two-week periods.
