Student Matinees

Student Matinees

The National Ballet of Canada, along with the global community, has faced extraordinary challenges due to COVID-19. The safety and health of our artists, staff, patrons and community is our foremost priority. It is with deep regret we announce that due to continued uncertainty around the COVID-19 pandemic, we have made the difficult decision to cancel our 2020 Fall Season and The Nutcracker. We remain hopeful that this trend will continue and, at this time, we intend to proceed with our Winter Season in March 2021 and our Summer Season in June 2021 at the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts.

The updated Student Matinee performances will now include: Crystal Pite’s Dora Award-winning Angels’ Atlas presented with George Balanchine's Serenade and The Four Seasons by James Kudelka, March 4, 2021, John Neumeier’s A Streetcar Named Desire, March 25, 2021, and the world premiere of Swan Lake, directed and staged by Karen Kain, June 17, 2021.

$15 Student Matinee Tickets

For only $15 your students can experience the magic of ballet! In addition to the live performance, we will help you incorporate ballet into your curriculum with a study guide for the upcoming production.
