Jason Ferro was born in Franklinville, New Jersey and trained at San Francisco Ballet School. He joined The National Ballet of Canada as an RBC Apprentice in 2018 and became a member of the Corps de Ballet in 2020.
Most recently, Jason debuted as Fox in The Nutcracker and performed in the world premiere of Procession, choreographed by Bobbi Jene Smith and Or Schraiber. His repertoire includes Uncle Nikolai in The Nutcracker, Sancho Panzo in Don Quixote, Descendant Blackbeard in MADDADDAM and Grant Munroe in Frame by Frame. Jason has also danced in Swan Lake, The Sleeping Beauty, Giselle, Romeo and Juliet, Cinderella, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, Onegin, Anna Karenina, The Four Seasons, A Streetcar Named Desire, Angels’ Atlas, Serenade, Diamonds, Rubies, Rhapsody, Concerto, Elite Syncopations, Emma Bovary, Crepuscular, Alleged Dances, The Dreamers Ever Leave You, On Solid Ground, 4 for 5, as seen from before and Reverence.
