Josh Hall was born in Syracuse, New York and trained at University of North Carolina School of the Arts. Josh was a member of Charlotte Ballet from 2012 to 2022 and joined the National Ballet as a Corps de Ballet Member in 2022. He was promoted to Second Soloist in 2023.

Most recently, Josh made his debut Duchess in Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and as Charles Bovary in the world premiere of Emma Bovary. His repertoire with the National Ballet includes Tybalt in Romeo and Juliet, Uncle Nikolai in The Nutcracker, Guy Glover in Frame by Frame and Gamache in Don Quixote, roles in Swan Lake, The Sleeping Beauty, Onegin, Cinderella, Concerto, MADDADDAM, Suite en Blanc, Diamonds, Rubies, UtopiVerse, The Collective Agreement and Alleged Dances.
