Larkin Miller was born in Los Angeles, California and trained at The School of American Ballet and American Ballet Theatre Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School in New York City, New York. Larkin joined The National Ballet of Canada as an RBC Apprentice in 2016 and was promoted to Principal Dancer in 2025.
Athletic and versatile with dynamic partnering skills, Larkin excels in a breadth of classical and contemporary work. Most recently, Larkin made his debut as Hilarion in Sir Peter Wright’s Giselle and Count Alexei Vronsky in the North American premiere of Christian Spuck’s Anna Karenina. He has danced such lead roles as Benno in Swan Lake, Eugene Onegin in Onegin, Peter/The Nutcracker in The Nutcracker, Prince Charming in Cinderella, Raj/The Caterpillar in Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Maurice Blackburn/Vincent Warren in Frame by Frame. His repertoire includes The Sleeping Beauty, Romeo and Juliet, Don Quixote, The Winter’s Tale, Nijinsky, The Merry Widow, Pinocchio, A Streetcar Named Desire, MADDADDAM, The Dream, Diamonds, Serenade, Concerto, Suite en Blanc, The Leaves are Fading, Passion, Rhapsody, Elite Syncopations, Angels’ Atlas, Emma Bovary, The Four Seasons, The Collective Agreement, Crepuscular, Being and Nothingness, Bolero, On Solid Ground and King’s Fall.
