Oliver Yonick was born in Toronto, Ontario and trained at Canada’s National Ballet School. He joined The National Ballet of Canada as an RBC Apprentice in 2020 and was promoted to Corps de Ballet in 2023.
Most recently, Oliver danced in the North American premiere of Sol Léon and Paul Lightfoot’s Silent Screen. His repertoire includes Raj/The Caterpillar in Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland as well as roles in Swan Lake, The Sleeping Beauty, Romeo and Juliet, The Nutcracker, Giselle, Onegin, Don Quixote, Anna Karenina, Cinderella, A Streetcar Named Desire, MADDADDAM, Diamonds, Suite en Blanc, The Leaves are Fading, Elite Syncopations, Concerto, Angels’ Atlas, Emma Bovary, Passion and Reverence.
