Tirion Law was born in Hong Kong and trained at The New Zealand School of Dance. Tirion danced with Hong Kong Ballet and joined The National Ballet of Canada as a member of the Corps de Ballet in 2018. In 2024, Tirion was promoted to Principal Dancer onstage following her debut as Kitri in Carlos Acosta's Don Quixote.
A charismatic performer with precise technique, most recently, Tirion debuted as Odette/Odile in Karen Kain’s Swan Lake, in the title role in Giselle and as Dolly in Anna Karenina. She has danced Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker, Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, Third and Fourth Fairy in The Sleeping Beauty, Kitri in Don Quixote, the title role in Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Blossom in Cinderella. Tirion’s repertoire includes A Streetcar Named Desire, The Dream, Rhapsody, The Leaves are Fading, The Second Detail, The Vertiginous Thrill of Exactitude, Angels’ Atlas, Anima Animus, The Four Seasons, Emma Bovary, Serenade, Symphony in C, Concerto, Elite Syncopations, Passion, UtopiVerse, Paquita, Crepuscular and Skyward.
In 2010, Tirion was awarded two gold medals at The Star Award Competition in Hong Kong and in 2012 won the Asian Grand Prix in Hong Kong. In 2015, Tirion was the first runner up at the Alana Haines Australasian Ballet Competition, and in 2022 she received the Patron Award of Merit.
