Giving Joy to Children in Need

The National Ballet of Canada’s Share the Magic programme provides a unique and memorable experience to community members who would not normally have the opportunity to visit the theatre by providing free access to live ballet performances. Since its inception in 1986, Share the Magic has brought the joy of dance to 110,000 audience members at absolutely no cost.

Each year, The National Ballet of Canada partners with schools on the Learning Opportunity Index, schools located in Neighbourhood Improvement Areas, social service agencies and health and support agencies, to make cherished full-length productions like The Nutcracker available for these special performances. Tickets are distributed through our partner organizations.

Help us bring the joy of ballet to children and families!
