Programme Information

Anna Karenina

Katja Wünsche and William Moore of Ballett Zürich in Anna Karenina.

Welcome!

The North American premiere of Anna Karenina marks an exciting milestone for The National Ballet of Canada as we expand our repertoire of full-length classical ballets and partner for the first time with Christian Spuck, a world leader in narrative dance. Christian’s musicality, meticulous craft and keen sense of theatricality serve Tolstoy beautifully, ensuring every element brings this story of love and morality into focus. I can’t wait for you to experience it.

Warmly,

Hope Muir,
Joan and Jerry Lozinski Artistic Director
