Your Fund, Your Legacy

At The National Ballet of Canada, establishing a named fund  is a seamless and supported process, guided every step of the way by our experienced Development team. A named fund offers a meaningful opportunity to honour your legacy with the National Ballet or celebrate the memory of a loved one in perpetuity.

Your fund may be established through a tax-deductible gift, or combination of gifts, tailored to your wishes, including a gift of securities, a multi-year pledge or a legacy gift.

    Fast Facts

    • The Endowment Incentives component of Canadian Heritage’s Canada Cultural Investment Fund matches gifts made to the Endowment Foundation to promote the financial stability of arts organizations through invested assets.
    • In 1999, Paul and Adelle Deacon made an inaugural gift of $100,000 to establish The National Ballet of Canada, Endowment Foundation.
    • There are currently 78 funds in the Endowment Foundation named in honour of celebrated champions of the National Ballet. Their names and legacies will be recognized in perpetuity alongside the National Ballet, and their love for the company will live on forever.
