We perform every year in November, March and June at the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts in Toronto, plus, on occasion, we produce special performances at other locations within the city.

Our Education and Community Engagement initiatives are designed to keep ballet, and all the arts, vital to our greater community. Through our exciting and innovative programmes, the National Ballet captivates imaginations and engages with children and students to inspire a deeper understanding of the arts. By supporting our efforts in schools and the community, your business can help provide arts education to students across the GTA or across the country or give a first-time ballet experience to children and their families from underserved communities. Dance is for everyone. The National Ballet of Canada seeks to address the historic and current barriers to ballet and is working to invite, welcome and include more people in the process of creating ballet as well as the enjoyment of dance. Our programmes range from in-school initiatives, welcoming newcomers, inclusive ticket pricing programmes and performances and events for individuals with special needs.

Every year, MAD HOT BALLET is one of the most anticipated nights on the social calendar. Our fundraising gala attracts party goers from the arts, business, fashion and media spheres. Together we celebrate dance, music, fashion and food in one extravagant evening that raises over $1 million to support our work on stage, behind the scenes and in the community.

MAD HOT BALLET Sponsors receive:

The National Ballet of Canada is proud to represent our nation on the international stage and share visions of Canadian dance abroad. Performing on tour gives our artists opportunities to showcase their talent in the world’s top dance centres. Through touring, we also aim to attract top talent from around the world to perform and create with us.

In the 2024/25 season, the National Ballet performed to public and critical acclaim in London, UK and Paris, France in October 2024. The National Ballet returns to the National Arts Centre in Ottawa in April 2026.
