Inspire Children in Our Community

For 40 years, our thoughtful donors and sponsors have supported Share the Magic, The National Ballet of Canada’s initiative to invite children and families in our communities to enjoy our productions for free. Nearly 120,000 Share the Magic audience members have been inspired by the joy, power and beauty of The Nutcracker as well as other family-friendly productions.

With a charitable gift, you can provide a child in our community with a memorable experience, inspiring their imagination, creative expression and burgeoning appreciation for the arts. Your donation will directly support a vital part of our mission – to ensure and expand our work in the community. With your help, we will celebrate dance and the arts as a vibrant thread in the fabric of our lives.

In 2026, celebrating Share the Magic’s 40th anniversary, we aim to welcome over 5,000 children and family members to a National Ballet performance – Pinocchio, Romeo and Juliet or The Nutcracker.

When you make a gift of $120, you’ll provide two tickets to a deserving child and their guest to one of the Share the Magic events in 2026 and you’ll become a Share the Magic Friend providing you with behind-the-scenes access that will bring you closer to the company and dancers you love.
