Five Things to Know

  1. 1Isabelle was born and raised in Toronto and received her training at Canada’s National Ballet School. In 2019, she joined Ballett Zürich’s Junior Company.
     
  2. 2In 2021, Isabelle performed in Ballett Zürich’s Junior Company’s live stream of their Junior Program, Impulse, which featured three new works by choreographers Craig Davidson, Bryan Arias and Juliano Nunes.
     
  3. 3With Ballet Zürich, Isabelle performed in Angels’ Atlas and Emergence by Crystal Pite, Almost Blue by Marco Goecke and many works by Christian Spuck including three new creations.
     
  4. 4Isabelle loves any outdoor activity and while living in Switzerland, she hiked all over the country with her friends.
     
  5. 5An avid cook, Isabelle loves to host her friends for dinner parties. While in Zürich, she brought a bit of Canada to Europe by hosting an annual Thanksgiving dinner.

Full Biography

Isabelle Bratt was born in Toronto, Ontario and trained at Canada's National Ballet School. In 2019, she joined Ballett Zürich’s Junior Company and joined the National Ballet as a Corps de Ballet member in 2022.   

Isabelle’s repertoire includes The Nutcracker, MADDADDAM, Concerto, Symphony in C and The Collective Agreement. Her repertoire with Ballett Zürich includes Impulse, which featured three new works by choreographers Craig Davidson, Bryan Arias and Juliano Nunes, Angels’ Atlas and Emergence by Crystal Pite, Almost Blue by Marco Goecke and many works by Christian Spuck including three new creations. 

Isabelle is the recipient of the Peter Dwyer Award in 2019.
