Biography

Monika Haczkiewicz was born in Las Vegas, Nevada and trained at Nevada Ballet Theatre, Kwak Ballet Academy, Tara Foy’s Elite Ballet and Nevada School of Dance in Las Vegas, Nevada and Canada’s Royal Winnipeg Ballet School. She danced with Atlanta Ballet before joining The National Ballet of Canada as a member of the Corps de Ballet in 2019.

Monika’s repertoire with the National Ballet includes Romeo and Juliet and The Dreamers Ever Leave You. With Atlanta Ballet, she performed in Don Quixote, The Nutcracker, La Sylphide, Paquita, Carmina Burana, Allegro Brilliante, Liam Scarlett’s Vespertine, Catch and Who Cares?.
 
In 2015, Monika competed in the Youth America Grand Prix where she ranked second place in the senior division in the Las Vegas Semi-Finals.
